Stela Barbieri organizes courses, workshops and lectures about the art of story-telling. In those courses, she works on tales of the oral tradition from different peoples of the world. This work allows an especial contact with millenary cultures and experiences that have lent a rich diversity of influences for the developing of the Brazilian people. When we deal with tales, we deal with the imagination and personal history of every person; we enrich the individual and the collective imaginaries, and fortify the existing ties. When we listen to a story, we share an adventure with those people around us, and then, at that very instant, our differences find a state of harmony.
